Medical Care Unit
Hill Regional Hospital has a team of highly skilled physician and nurses dedicated to providing quality service to our patients. This team approach promotes positive outcomes in a patient focused system.
If you or a family member has had a serious injury or illness, or requires inpatient surgery or critical care, you can rely on us to receive compassionate comfort and care. We consider these an integral part of your well-being.
At Hill Regional Hospital, our Medical Care Unit consists of private and semiprivate rooms. The nursing staff is qualified and caring. Our Medical Care Unit bed has the ability to provide Cardiac Monitoring, which is also monitored in ICU.
Intensive Care Unit
Experienced nurses who provide specialized care around-the-clock maintain the Intensive Care Unit.
Unit beds are attached to monitors that keep track of vital information, such as heart rate, central venous and respiratory pressure temperature and cardiac output. All information is processed though a computer and is monitored closely by the Intensive Care Staff.
The Intensive Care Unit staff makes sure that family members understand what it means to be in Intensive Care and what they can do to help their loved ones.
